SATURDAY HIKE Tomales Point - May 18th
Another beautiful weekend
approaches and out to the coast we go! This is a long hike,
but not very hilly. The great attractions are wild life, wild flowers and the fact you are walking along what remains of
the Pacific Plate before it dives into the San Andreas fault which runs directly under Tomales Bay! You have to join us!! We'll meet at the trail head at
the end of Pierce Point Road, near the old barn, at 10am. Pack water and
lunch as you see fit and bring layers of clothing as the weather can
be unpredictable. And sorry - no dogs are allowed on this one.
These hikes give you a chance to make new friends and get out and enjoy Marin County's great outdoors. We are men and women supporting Marin AIDS Project and people in Marin living with HIV/AIDS. If you haven’t joined us, start now! It's a great opportunity to connect with like minded people and get some exercise and fresh air!
Getting there: …From 101 take the Sir Francis Drake/Richmond Bridge exit and head west on Sir Francis Drake about 20 miles, to the
junction with CA 1 in Olema. Turn right, drive 0.1 mile, then turn left onto Bear
Valley Road. In about 2 miles, Bear Valley Road merges into Sir Francis Drake -
bear left. Continue on Sir Francis Drake about 5.5 miles, then turn right onto
Pierce Point Road. Drive about 9 miles to Tomales Point Trailhead (a short distance from McClures Beach) at the end of
the road.
Please join our AIDS Walk team!Working together we can make this year a huge success! Call Andy for details on how to register. The Walk is July 21st.

supportive and caring as we deserve it to be. Hope to see you next Monday, May 20th - 5:30 - 8:00 pm at The Sheraton Four Points
- 1010 Northgate Drive.
Next year will be our 30th Please plan to join us in recognizing this significant milestone. Watch for news and details!
