ABOUT US

The mission of Marin AIDS Project is to help the people of Marin County obtain the best quality HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C services, information, education and support possible.

For 25 years, we have been reaching out to offer help, support, understanding and compassion to people throughout Marin living with and affected by HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C. Volunteers, board members and staff have worked together over the years to make MAP a safe and trusted place for those in need and in pain, those sick and dying and those without anywhere to turn.

Through our direct care services we help people who are living with HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C respond to their needs and daily struggles, providing them the most sensitive support possible.  Our clients tell us “ without Marin AIDS Project, I don’t know how I would make it.”

We are also committed to preventing the spread of HIV and Hepatitis C. Through education, outreach, individual consultation, support groups and activities, we provide the information, knowledge, skills and motivation needed to stay safe and healthy.

All of our services are provided with cultural sensitivity in both English and Spanish and all clients and services are handled with strict confidentiality.
