Hepatitis C Services
Marin AIDS Project offers case management, benefits counseling, mental health services and much more for people living with Hepatitis C (HCV). All Marin AIDS Project Services are provided confidentially and free of charge to any qualified Marin County resident.
Case Management:
Staff assist clients in accessing all available community support services and resources. During the intake process staff and clients work together to develop a plan to meet the client's immediate and long term needs. The needs may include, but are not limited to, medical care, housing, food, job training, employment and housing services, financial, practical and emotional support. Case Managers continue to work with clients as their needs change.
Benefits Counseling:
Clients can be assisted in applying for both public and private benefits: in determining their eligibility, filing necessary forms, and planning for the future. This can include Social Security, State Disability, and MediCal, CMSP, etc. Benefits advocates also assist clients with legal documents, money management and credit and collection issues.
Mental Health:
We offer individual and group counseling as well as psychiatric evaluation and medication monitoring. Services are offered without fees to those with no insurance and low incomes. Others pay a very modest sliding scale fee.
